Breaktime: The Vision of the Light

 The Vision of the Light

He summons the heavens above, and the earth, that he may judge his people: Psalm 50:4

Again, the author is seeing the final judgment day and proclaims; there is a day coming when all the earth will be summoned. Everyone will receive a summons to appear before the court of justice and the verdict is determined through Christ Jesus.

This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. John 3:19

However, friends, we are choosing to live in the light and disregard the darkness. The light is revealed through Jesus and now we get the honors of following, which means we have to continually forgo the darkness. It appears the light is growing dim and darkness is surrounding us, but simply is not valid. No amount of darkness can extinguish even one spark of light.

It is time we rise up from any darkness which may be trying to take us out and allow the light to shine. When we step into any room, that is the place where light shines. Our role is to allow the vision of the light to continue to lead us, regardless of the influence of the darkness. Be a faith leader this year and follow the light wherever and whenever He leads.
